The latest report to be published by PricewaterhouseCooper's explores the impact of the global economic downturn on people management.


At Melcrum's Change Communication conference 2010, keynote speaker Angela Motahshemi, director HRS services communications practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers spoke about what the downturn has taught us about organizational change. She touched on recent research carried out by the practice, that predicts what business will look like in 2020. PwC hypothesizes that there will be three, very different "worlds", or business models that will co-exist in the future: The Green World, The Orange World and The Blue World, as per the diagram below.

In this video Mohtashemi describes the kinds of businesses that will operate in these worlds and how communication, collaboration and engagement will differ in each.
