Top 10 April Fool's Day workplace pranks revealed

No, we're not joking.

Job advice website, CareerBuilder.com, has published a survey showing that 29% of employees have fallen victim to April Fool's Day prank at work.

Whilst gluing office equipment to desks and faking resignation letter continue to be among the favorite ways to amuse people, Careerbuilder.com also compiled its own top 10 list of the most original and funny April Fool's day japes. Perhaps you could try some of them out:

  1. Send a letter signed by the company president that informs employees they'd have to take potty breaks in alphabetical order.
  2. Decrease the size of boss's lab coat. Continue the joke after April 1 to perplex the boss as his coats get tighter each week while he's dieting diligently.
  3. Make for a very foggy day by putting dry ice in the urinal.
  4. Change all of boss's reading glasses to clear glass.
  5. Send a note to co-worker's pager that says to contact "George". Provide the number of the White House.
  6. Run a wall of tape draped across the doorway of the restroom.
  7. Put a "random burping" program on the boss's computer that will loudly burp every few seconds.
  8. Bring in jelly doughnuts filled with ketchup.
  9. Have someone with a "questionable" profession call the office and ask for directions.
