Deadline extended for Global Intranet and Portal Survey

Participant requests and busy August force change to survey response deadline.

Intranet advisory organization, Net Strategy/JMC, has announced that the response deadline to the Annual Global Intranet Strategies Survey has been extended to August 31.

It probes deeper into other areas such as collaboration and web 2.0 tools and localization.

The 2007 survey includes some of the same questions as 2006 in order to track evolution on key indicators. It probes deeper into other areas such as collaboration and web 2.0 tools, localization and language aspects, and findability and search issues.

Share best practices
The major new feature is that participants are asked to share best practices and lessons learned around specific topics.

Intranet and portal specialist Jane McConnell initiated the survey in 2006 and publishes the results of this year's edition in October.
