National Bank of Pakistan launches employee communication program

Enhancing commitment and motivation is behind bank's internal dialogue project.

The National Bank of Pakistan has launched an employee communication program aimed at developing and improving communication within the organization.

Employee communication, said the bank, is a vital tool for engaging employees, and promoting commitment and loyalty.

The bank hopes to motivate its employees by giving them a greater understanding of their roles.

By giving employees a greater understanding of their roles the bank hopes to increase motivation. The program also focuses on increasing employees' knowledge of the bank's products, services and customer expectations.

The program is expected to have a knock-on effect on how staff deal with customer's problems and complaints.

Launching in 29 different regions of Pakistan, the program is to be supported by periodic staff meetings.
